Robert Watts

Our Family Origins Web site is devoted to exploring the ancestry of Zachariah Watts and his wife Annabelle McDougall, parents of some 13 children that were born and raised in and around Foley Township and Parry Sound in the mid to late 1800s. In that first generation alone, the family tree expanded to include the family names of Hambly, Bennett, Sullivan, James, Scarr, Wilson, Corry, Stevenson, Gadway and Bell and others.

This site has since grown to include thousands of individuals and families that have come to be related through hundreds of years of both marriages and births.

Couture Descendant

Samuel Couture worked and raised a family in the Muskoka region between about 1890 to 1916.

The Couture Family Ancestry website maps out both his ancestors and descendants as it tries to connect the dots of my ancestors.

Doug Thomas

Looking for McCullough, Glover, Fawcett, Ferris, Goodwin, Mayes and Terry families. The McCulloughs and Fawcetts were from the Uffington, Draper Township area. John and Jane (Glover) McCullough had only daughters that survived. The above surnames are the families they married into. Jane Glover's mother was Anna Jane Ferris that came to Canada with her husband William Glover but I have no idea where they settled. We have nothing on John McCullough's siblings or ancestors but think there were relatives in the district.
I have seen some unconfirmed information that Thomas Fawcett was the Gold Commissioner during the Yukon Gold Rush.
