Hi there, searching for any information about my grandparents - Elsie (Banky) Hind and her husband James D. Raeburn. They only moved to the Bracebridge area in late 1940s or 50s. They had a business called Hind Manufacturing that was a sheet metal factory and they specialized in farm and poultry equipment.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for any information regarding a STOLZ family who came from Michigan, USA to Bracebridge, ON in 1962 and gave birth to a boy on December 17th. The infant was named Keith James Stolz and then given for adoption and renamed Robert Christopher Old. Keith James Stolz/Robert Christopher Old was my biological Father and I did not get to meet him before he passed in 2005. I am looking to complete my family tree on Ancestry and have had no luck thus far completing my tree even with DNA results. Thank you for reading.

We recently moved to the area. Previous homeowners left us info about the sale of the home once upon a time but there is no date. It states: Parcel 6725, Recently Part if Parcel 2617, Muskoka Volume 32, microflmed Dec 11 1980 #G1025821. It states that the land was in the Township of Stephenson. A stamp on the doc says "Now in the Town of Huntsville". We actually live in Port Sydney. Our land was left by Mary Ella Hignam, or Dignam to Gladys Jay, spinster, of Toronto. Mary's estate executors were Hugh M, D/Hignam and John Rodolph Van Hogenhouck Tullekin. Looking for more information about Mary and Gladys. Is my Mary the same Marty that was a Victorian-era scholar and artist? How can I know the date of the document I have? Can provide more geographical details from the doc.

I am looking for information on my great grandfather William Burrs. Records indicate his birthplace was in Gravenhurst 1878 and that he was adopted by a William Ellis, who owned land in the area. He married my great grandmother Minnie Kate Parker and they had two daughters, Beatrice Victoria and Idella Grace. I did obtain a rcord of their marriage and it was transcribed as William Burns instead of Burrs. Truly appreciate any leads. Also know he died in 1911 in MacGregor, Manitoba.

Looking for burial location for Kirby Austin b. 28 Aug 1924 d. 12 Jun 2008. Marjorie Irene (Brook) Austin b. 30 Dec 1929 d. 21 Dec 2000. Both lived & died in Huntsville ON. Kirby from Novar ON and Marjorie from Etwell ON. I have checked with Huntsville cemeteries and they tell me they have no record of them there. I have information for all Austins in Perry Twp, which includes Novar, and they are not there. I checked for Etwell Twp and it appears there is only a very small cemetery there, probably no longer active. Their children were baptised in St. Andrews/Novar United Church. Marjorie's parents who lived in Etwell for a very long time are buried in Hutcheson Memorial Cemty in Huntsville. Kirby's parents are buried in St. Andrews/Novar United Church Cemty. I have their obituaries but neither says where they were being interred. Anyone know anything about this?
