April 5, 2019 I am looking for information on my great grandfather William Burrs. Records indicate his birthplace was in Gravenhurst 1878 and that he was adopted by a William Ellis, who owned land in the area. He married my great grandmother Minnie Kate Parker and they had two daughters, Beatrice Victoria and Idella Grace. I did obtain a rcord of their marriage and it was transcribed as William Burns instead of Burrs. Truly appreciate any leads. Also know he died in 1911 in MacGregor, Manitoba.

Beatrice Victoria Burrs married Stucky William Tucker in Winnipeg 6 Dec 1922. Registration # 1922-045214.No other information is given. He is living in Lisgar on 1916 census with parents. He was very young when he got married - about 18. I cannot find anything else re the Tucker family after wedding in 1922. Moved to the US? None of them show up on 1926 census. 1921 census Beatrice Burrs, aged 20, [transcribed as Bearns but I have looked at the original and it definately is Burrs] is in Lisgar Manitoba as a teacher. Father born Ontario, mother b England. Grace Idella married Arthur J Skov 1921 in Calgary Alberta. No other info given. This is on a family tree but no more info on William after his marriage.Says Minnie died 1977 but doesn't say where. 1926 census Calgary Alberta SKOV Arthur, 25, b USA, immigrated 1909, Danish, Grace, 23, OntCatharine, 4, AlbertaJames, 1, AlbertaNo occupations given on this censusSorry not to have been of more help but maybe the Skov name could help out as it is not common.
