Thom
Shelley Gosse
I have information that Archibald Thom had a newspaper in Emsdale. He was born in 1837 and died in 1914. I am wondering what the paper was called and if there are any archives of the paper. I am also interested in any history about him and/or his family.

Read More... Wallbridge
Kaye Wallbridge
My maiden name is Wallbridge and I live in Western Australia now. My ancestors came from Crewkerne in Cornwall, England and arrived in Australia in the mid 1800’s as free settlers. Their names were Diana, John (son), Alfred (son) and Charlotte his wife. I believe that two male Wallbridges left England for the United States to escape legal charges.
I would like to know who the town of Wallbridge was named after and if anyone there is researching the Wallbridge family. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Charles W. Weech
I am researching my surname WEECH and in so doing came across a site on the net which had the photograph of a gravemarker. The gravesite was at the South River Cemetery (South River, Ontario) It read Anna Chapman WEECH 1874 to May 27, 1967 beloved wife of William WEECH. I believe William to be a lost uncle who was last known living in Toronto in the early 1900's-born Churchville, Ontario. Does anyone have knowledge of WEECH or CHAPMAN in the South River area?
