Cribbie
My grandfather is Douglas Blake Cribbie (born in 1930 unsure of date, we believe he died in 1990 but I was only 2 so I'm not positive), he was married to Marion Joyce Hamilton. I've been unable to find any information about who my great grandfather (Doug's father) may be. Doug only had one child, named Kenneth Blake Cribbie (b. 1949) who is my father.

Your grandfather was born in April 1931 according to the 1931 Canada Census. His mother was Ethel Elizabeth Cribbie. Here is a link to her bio. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Cribbie-7He was my father’s half-brother. He died On Oct 7, 1990.I have been unable to determine who his father was. His father had another son with Ethel. Wilfred was born on 02 April 1933. Ethel married Myrle Hoover Raymer in Aug 1933.A request can be made to the Ontario government for a Certified Copy of the Birth Registration. I am looking for the Maiden name of Ruth Cribbie, the wife of Thomas James Cribbie who was born in Parry Sound, Ontario on 1o Mar 1947 and past on 8 Oct 2011 in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. They married in the 1960’s and had 2 sons Tommy Jim and Jeffery. She was a nurse at the Parry Sound General Hospital in the 1960’s. When divorced she and the boys moved to Toronto. The last time I saw them Jim and I went to see them in 1981. I am doing the family tree and have gaps. Jims Grandmother is my Grandfathers Sister. Would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank You
