I'm looking for the birth or baptism record for Mary Symington who was born around October 1868 in Ontario to William Symington and Sarah (Duncan) Symington, who were both born in Scotland. Various census and directory records show that the family was definitely in Cardwell (or Watt) Township in 1871. Before that it's less clear. They were definitely in Colborne (further south) in 1861 and there's a chance they were in Morrison Township by 1866. The family was listed as E. Methodist in the 1871 census. I've searched as many databases as I can find online and I'm going to call the two Free Methodist churches in the area but they were different denominations I believe. Any advice on where I should call or reach out to next, perhaps some local museums?

Hi, I'm looking for the birth record for Robert Hughes McClelland who appears to have been born in Parry Sound on October 29th, 1869. His parents were John McClelland (the first mayor!) and Margaret Rae McClelland. Based on the date, I'm wondering if he might have been in some sort of record kept by Thomas McGown before he created the Zion Presbyterian Church. Thank you for your help!

Good morning. I was wondering if I could get any more information about the Whiting family burial site in Torrance. I run a small business that I do on weekends about cleaning and restoring the look of older gravesites, etc. I was hoping to get a hold of the family so I could ask to clean it.

I need (and will pay for) assistance identifying the location of my great-grandfather's cottage on Lake Bernard at Sundridge during the 1920-40s. I have the possible Concession and Lot numbers, but cannot find them in the Strong Township "Historical Books". I will pay for consulting help. I have created a highlighted map of the area I can share. Help! Thanks!
