General Inquiries
General inquiries can be sent to Janine McIntyre for inclusion in the club newsletter. Please remember that not all club members have internet access and depend on the club newsletter for inquiries and responses. If you have an inquiry posted on this page, please check to see if it is correct.
General inquiries will be posted in chronological order of their submission date. The most recent inquiries will be at the top and the oldest at the bottom. This makes it easier to identify new submissions. If you want to post an inquiry regarding surname interests, then go to the Surname Inquiry Page.

Hi, I am trying to find out who to contact about the burials in Williamsport cemetery. There are 4 flat markers with no dates, just a name. Would like to know if they are the children of Charlotte & William Prince. She is interred there with a headstone. Thank you

Hi, I am researching the medals of John Walford who was discharged in Montreal in 1841.
I have a great deal of info about his life in England and Canada. His story seemed to end in 1866 in St. JOHN'S District of Toronto.
Then bingo! I found the obituary of his daughter Maria Ann Thompson whose obituary appeared in the Bracebridge Gazette in 1920. Lots of missing pieces and news that she was a pioneer in Draper's Town.
Thought she might have descendants in the area who would be interested in her origins.

I'm trying to purchase a copy of the Cemetery transcription for Newholme Holy Trinity Anglican Church on the Brunel Rd. near Huntsville. I have contacted the OGS on Steeles in Concord and they directed me to the Muskoka branch of the OGS. I have emailed Linda and Janine from the Muskoka branch and have had no reply in over a month? My son's gg grandparents are buried there with no stone. I would really love some help getting a copy.
Thanks!!
