July 7, 2015 I am trying to locate what happened to my husbands grgr grandmother Adelaide Ellis she married a Jonas Buel they lived in the Bracebrideg area I lost rack of her after he died in 1894 hoping someone can clue me in as to where or what happened to her thank you regards Susan Burton Toledo Ohio USA
Looks like the Buel family moved to the US. They are not on 1901 and 1911 Canadian census.
1900 census Saginaw MichiganGeorge Ed , m, 29, CanadaRose J, f, 32, MichiganMargery, 8, CanadaMabel, 6, CanadaImmigrated 1895.His first wife was named Phebe Caroline McEwen so she must have died.George and family are on 1910 census in Lucas Washington Tsp Ohio. He is a blacksmith and his brother William is living with them.William got married in 1919 to Ada Sopher in Marine City St Clair Michigan. Jonas and Adeline are given as parents.There are a couple of marriages in Michigan for an Adelina Buel but none fit her birthdate and marriages are too early.Sarah Jane married Samuel Kennedy in 1892 in Bracebridge.Familysearch.org have all the US census on their site for free.
Looking for Mary Elizabeth McDonald b 1862 in Dundas . She married Charles Ezra Ellis who died in Iroquois Falls in 1924. In 1931 she married Franklin Clarey. He died in 1935. In 1936 , I found her name in a voters list in Gravenhurst beside her daughter Ida May Crowder and her husband John Crowder. I haven’t been able to locate them since that date. Does anyone know about these people.? Thank you for any information you might have.
