    Hi Dianne. I have my great grandmother as Elisabeth Maria Markle. Elisabeth born 1819 died 1896 I also have:
    Great Great Grandfather Johannes George Hanes (1770 – 1856), wife Nancy Bush (1774 – 1870)
    Great Great Great Grandfather Joseph Hanes (1726 1802) wife Margaret Cremer.I hope this is helpful.

  Do you have any info as to the area of Muskoka he was in or dates? Hanes is an old name in the Huntsville area.
