Do you have any genealogical records for Andrew Hunter and his family. The census records indicate he lived in Torrance in Medora Township in 1911 and Port Carling in 1921. He was a mason by trade involved in construction contracting.

1935 Andrew, builder, and Charlotte are in Lansing at 64 Franklin Avenue. Donald , builder is there as well.
1953 Andrew, retired, Donald, mechanic and Mrs Dorothy are all 64 Franklin Avenue Lansing.
1958 Andrew, retired, Donald, mechanic and Mrs Dorothy are at the above address.
Don’t see them on any voters list after 1958. Lists only go up to 1974.
Andrew must have died between 1953 and 1958 re voter’s lists. Don’t think death registrations are released yet for those years.

Birth :Glady Grace Hunter, b 20 Dec 1898 at York. Parents as above. Died 23 Feb 1899 at Newmarket, Ontario of bronchitis.
Mossie? Estella Hunter, b 7 or 9 March. 1904. Married John Wesley Thompson, 24 Dec 1932 in Toronto. Her name is listed as Mossie Estella Hunter or Bresher. He is a widower and she was divorced 1 Oct 1932. Thompson died in 1943 of a cerebral haemorrage in Trafalgar Tsp. Mossie is listed as wife. She had 2 children re the 1931 census Patricia 6 and John 3. Wesley also had a son Kenneth 17.

Marriage: 16 April 1938 to Richard Hern Bailey, at North York, York Ontario. Witn: Ernest Bailey of Orville and Mrs Pearl Wright of Sudbury. Cannot read the location of marriage but it was in the United Church. Place name may be Newton Brook.

Audry Oriole is an adult and may have been a nanny or teacher or just a visitor. She is quite well dressed.
I hope this isn’t too hard to read. I always leave spaces when the information changes but the system tends to clump it altogether.

Death: Charlotte Kezia, aged 74, of Lansing, 64 Franklin St North York. died 5 Jan 1949, born 23 Mar 1875 or 1874, married, husband Andrew Hunter, parents: Martin Bailey and Elizabeth no name given, both born Ireland. Looks like she was buried Jan 6 or 7 1949 at Newmarket Cemetery.
Registration # 002813.
There is no cause of death listed and nobody from the family signed this statement. Leonard Bennett, funeral director, signed the burial information.
This is very strange not to have cause of death. Will see if I can find out more on this.
