Wallbridge

My maiden name is Wallbridge and I live in Western Australia now. My ancestors came from Crewkerne in Cornwall, England and arrived in Australia in the mid 1800’s as free settlers. Their names were Diana, John (son), Alfred (son) and Charlotte his wife. I believe that two male Wallbridges left England for the United States to escape legal charges. I would like to know who the town of Wallbridge was named after and if anyone there is researching the Wallbridge family. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
